I have given this book to friends who have recently moved house and they have found it really useful. A simple idea for recording information about your home. Ideal house warming gift!

Wow, do people really need or want that much of organization and inspiration about something simple as their home? I do agree, it's very useful to have one place where to keep all information instead of cluttering around. But - useful information is one thing, details on repairs and improvements another! Looking through this book gave me a headache and I felt depressed: like, do I really have to do all that? I can't draw, how do they think I should do these sketches? I don't have the time ... I thought it was intimidating. More focus and less information would have been a great idea for the common people.
